GiGi Capone started out in the media aspect of the music industry getting shot down for interviews by artists because none of her works had been published in any trade publications yet. There are 2 things she has loved as long as she can remember; Music and Writing. In School at the tender age of 7 years old she was already composing 10 page stories for her creative writing period. By the age of eleven she was hiding from her mother in her tree fort with a cassette player and writing rap songs to Too Short Lyrics. She was simply obsessed with music and writing.
Ms. Capone caught her break in the music industry when she stumbled across Brian Wise; the co-founder of Tapwire Magazine in the chat room of an online radio station based in New York that GiGi was working for. She started networking with him right off the bat and was offered a position as a writer at the magazine. Finally she would have a platform for her writing to get seen. After only a couple of months she caught her first mainstream interview with artist Ghostface Killah of Wutang; except... it was on the fluke. Not a bad break for a rookie’s first time.  After that she was hooked. Determined to become the “Barbra Walters or Connie Chung of music journalism” she has continued branding herself in the industry ever since.
If you ask GiGi she will tell you “I’m just getting warmed up”. Her interview with Ghostface went well and she has continued interviewing some of the hottest names in the industry ever since. She has had 3 in depth one on one interviews with multiplatinum selling Grammy award winning artist Wyclef Jean. You can add Mack 10, Techn9ne, Krizz Kalico, Doitall of Lord of The Underground, 40 Glocc, Money B of Digital Underground, Chino XL, Chip Fu and Nappy Rootz to that Hit list while you’re at it just to name a few. GiGi rigorously researches before each interview to ensure her fans that each and every interview is exciting and unique. She has a gift for making her interviewee’s comfortable and stays away from the gossip column type of antics that have became ever so popular in the biz.  The revolutionary journalist prides herself in being a media source that artists can utilize to get their music heard.
One of the biggest things GiGi is known for is being huge supporter and friend to the DJs. Not only is she an executive assistant to The Lord Gang DJz President Danja One; but she also hosts the coalition’s conference calls and books shows for its founder Doitall Kelly. She also does conference call hosting for Mixshowblast DJs owned by DJ King Assassin. That isn’t even the begging of the work she does with the DJs. She is the West Coast President of Wyclef Jean’s Warrior Movement and has been assigned to constructing the blueprint for his coalition “The Warrior DJs.”  GiGi also holds very close business relationships with Slip n Slide DJs, Fleet DJs and Future Star DJs as well. Her sentiments about DJs are “God bless the DJs without them where would music be?” .

GiGi Started 2010 out as being Co-founder & CEO of Hustle Hard TV, a contributing editor at Tapwire Magazine, PR to Sick Wid’ IT Records artist “Big Omeezy”, PR for The UIM Magazine, Hosting her own radio show “The G Spot” hosted on 98.2 The Beat which is syndicated on over 200 networks, Publisher for Hyphy Rockstar, a full blown social media expert and she doesn’t show any signs of slowing down whatsoever.
