DJ Nelly Nell aka "Da Neck Breaka"

In 1994 his journey began, by providing good music for any occasion be it for your last minute get-together or that very special day, DJ Nelly Nell can make it MO BETTER!

His passion and dedication to music has grown through the years being inspired by DJ's that moved the crowd. Legends like Jazzy Jeff, Jam Master J and local Akron, OH legends Chilly Mo & Bird D (Mo Better Entertainment), always hoping that one day he would be in a position to carry the torch.

Before joining forces with Mo Better Entertainment, Nelly Nell could be seen rockin' the crowd at the Ravenna Men's Civic Club (Ravenna OH). Having his own musical flair, high energy mixing, kept the ladies bouncin' and the fellas hyped. It gave him the opportunity to DJ Kent State University's first annual block party in 2005.

Being the newest member to join Mo Better gave Nelly Nell more exposure and the ability to showcase his skills. When you hear Nelly Nell play, be advised to GET READY, as he take's you on a musical ride. Clubs and events that Nelly Nell made shake are; Sandy's Restaurant & Lounge Akron OH, B&J's Lounge Akron OH, VFW Post 3618 Akron OH, Canton Old Timers Canton OH, Bungalo 5 Akron OH and the Vodka Lounge Akron, OH. DJ Nelly Nell's versatility to play for any occasion landed him numerous cooperate events for; The Ohio Summit County Jobs And Family Service's (annual picnic & holiday Party) and for Ohio Summit County Judge Orlando Williams campaign party in 2007.

Now relocated to Florida (May/2008), the Akron Ohio native journey continues, joining forces with; Slip N Slide DJ's, Future Star DJs, X Squad DJs, Mixxbosses, Nerve DJs, Coast 2 Coast Mixtape DJs & Incredible Mixtape DJs he continues blazing for peoples musical needs. Taking a brief break from the club scene, he has taken advantage of the internet to build his fan base to encompass a worldwide audience, with over 85 mixtapes, 90,000 downloads and a mixshow syndicated world wide, Nelly Nell has been embraced by the hip-hop masses and has been featured on numerous online mixtapes and radio communities.

With his increased online presence he established a reputation as one of the most skilled DJ’s in the South, it is no surprise that Nelly Nell is now on the radar of many record label executives and other big names in hip-hop. DJ Nelly Nell has emerged as a name that consistently appears on anyone’s sort list of top worldwide DJ talents.
