Tommy Blak is a man of many hats. From DJing clubs, mixtapes, performing with artists and on radio, to promoting and organizing events, he keeps his hand in the pot. Tommy learned early how to get the crowd going and became a rising favorite among MCs in battles around the Los Angeles area as well as artists in Ventura and Orange counties with his ever-growing hunger for new music and artists. This hunger eventually landed him at Project Blowed, one of longest running events in Los Angeles and a powerhouse in the Hip Hop community, where mastered the ability of the performance DJ for artists. Touring would soon follow and then spinning solo around the country. Tommy would soon take the time to focus on mastering the art of the mixtape and release series after series of quality mixtapes as well as mixtapes for clothing lines, blogs, magazines and various companies. He eventually landed in spots in various DJ Coalitions such as Lord Gang DJz, Slip N Slide DJs and Sniper Squad DJs (where he would become the Mixtape Lead and West Coast Regional Director). Tommy Blak is no stranger to the stage and has performed with Immortal Technique, Redman, Kev Brown, Aceyalone, Masta Ace, Boot Camp Clik, Buckshot, Trek Life, Evidence, , KRS One, Abstract Rude, Tonedeff, PackFM, Freestyle Fellowship, Oddisee, Crooked I , Kidz in the Hall, Cunninglinguists and many more.
